This week I have been focusing on gathering sound to use in my short film, I have a clear idea about the mood I want to create in certain sequences so I don’t think ill have a problem finding appropriate music. I am also looking at editing my film further visually, adding edit transitions and various other effects to specific clips.

First Complete Edit (No Sound)
This is my first complete edit of my short film, the clips are aligned in order and I’ve kept the timing within 5 minutes, although the film still has no sound and a number of clips need editing further: transitions and other effects etc.

Update
I have uploaded all of my new footage onto the editing suite and named the clips, I am roughly half way through the editing process and just need add certain effects and sound to make the short film more believable, the new footage will be uploaded this week and I will hopefully also half a rough cut of the whole film. This weekends shoot should be my last as I am happy will the footage and know how they will fit together.

What I'll Be Doing This Weekend
This weekend I will be filming again, I hope to complete the second half of my film and therefore have all the footage for the project, I will be shooting in a different location to before although it will be unnoticeable in the final version because of continuity. I have decided on a new location because the area is better suited for the ending sequence. I will upload the footage next week.
Update
Throughout this week I have re-started editing my film cutting out all of the previous footage that contained snow in the background and replacing them with the new footage I have shot (Rushes in next post), these were shot in regular weather conditions for better continuity throughout the Film.
